New to this forum thing - brake pads for 07 Sprint

I have been searching old posts for brake pads for 07 sprint and could not find any. I have 5000 miles on my bike now and the brakes are already worn out Don't want to spend the money on another set from Triumph as they are mighty proud of them judging by their price, and they don't last very long. Looked for pads at Dennis Kirk and Bike Bandit, but they don't list any for 07. The EBC web site lists FA236HH and FA214/2HH. Tried to cross reference these on the Bike Bandit web site, and they did not list any Sprint. Surprisingly, Amazon.com has the best price for the pads, but before I order them I want to make sure I am getting the right pads.

Take a look at the part numbers sticky. There is a lot of good info there.

That said, I went to the EBC organics because I was tired of the OEM pads squealing.
I am not very happy with the EBC organics. I would have considered them an improvement for street riding except for one issue. They are soft enough that they seem to grab onto the holes drilled in the rotors as the bike approaches its stop. Everything is fine until the bike is nearly stopped, then lots of vibration.
You reference the harder sintered HH pads which should not do this.

Wow...im surprised your brakes are worn out in only 5k miles...im nearing 6k and mine look fine. The outer pads I can see physically and look like they are half worn..so im figuring 10k out of them...are you doing alot of city traffic?

I do at least 35 miles of commuting in city traffic a day. Most of that is below 40mph (Atlanta area). In heavy traffic I use the back brake a lot, and it is now completely gone. Front brakes have a few miles left on them, but not much.

My stock pads lasted 8K. I asked for DP pads and my dealer did not have them in stock. They talked me into the OEM pads and they squeak a lot. It will be DP next time.

Changed The pads today. Back brake pads were completely wore out. Went to change the front pads, and they were nearly as thick as the new set. I guess I must be pushing on the back brake much harder than I thought. For the last 2 years I have been riding a 750 night hawk, which has a mechanical drum brake. Think I will use that for my excuse for pushing on the brake so hard. I will have to pay more attention to it from now on. At least I will have extra front pads ready when I finally need them.
