Have any of you done or tried this? Do you think it's possible? I'd like to lower them about an inch and am not worried about scraping them as I don't lean that much (at least I don't THINK I do  ) and would like to increase my knee angle a bit. Can our bike accept different/adjustable pegs? Any good outfits for those? Thanks!

SkyKing makes a set...

Adjustable Rear Set

...but the cost is high. I haven't heard any feedback.

Lowering the pegs on this bike might cause a lot of scraping.... I'm not what I consider a real canyon-carver, but I have scraped the pegs a few times during some "spirited", but not crazy, riding. My buddies Concours wasn't hitting when I was riding/scraping the same speed & line as him... I have since adjusted the suspension settings but lowering another inch is something I personally wouldn't do.... Just my 2 cents... and at $500+ it's not cheap...

Charlie...

i asked about doing this some time ago and was told i was better off raising the seat. maybe a gel pad and a sheep skin cover? that is what i am thinking. should get an extra 1 to 1.5 inches out of that set up. have yet to try it, though. will borrow my dad's stuff and test before purchasing.

You can try removing the rubber tops from the footpegs too...

I'm not sure how much it gives you... 1/2 inch maybe... but perhaps that combined with a gel pad might be all you need...

BTW... the feel of going from 5th to 6th without the rubber tops on the pegs was quite different... I'm used to it now though...
