Stop your crying and compete ya babies.

Congrats to the lad, he decimated the rest of the field this year and deserves the title along with Ducati and Bridgstone.
HOWEVER (oh dear) if you take off your aussie hat for a sec, and I know this isn't the right thread to discuss this but this isn't a racing forum so...
This year has had some boring races. For me I'm not really interested in tyres. I know some get their rocks off on them but I don't. I don't find it adds anything to my enjoyment of the sport. Perhaps the Michelin riders had a better time of last year(s), I'm not going to argue that, I can see how Bridgestone and Dunlop riders would have been miffed that Michelin was shipping stuff over night and generally had a better tyre, I'm not saying that is better either.
I would prefer to see a more level playing field and closer racing, this year hasn't been like that, there have been some thoroughly processional races (first Michelin finisher in Japan was 9th place and that has been consistant for many races this year). I want to see who is the better rider, not who is on the better tyre. Obviously this is a new year for the 800 bikes and the tyre rule but I personally blame the changes on a substandard year give or take the odd race.
I guess they are still working the rules out, I DO expect a tyre rule change of some sort next year, there is simply too much money at Repsol Honda and Fiat Yamaha, not to mention TV rights.
Last time I checked Rossi wasn't DORMA's golden boy anyway, as long as they get people watching on telly they are doing their jobs, and aren't they Spanish?
