Installed Carbon FiberNew Hugger today

I ordered it from Jack Lilley over in the UK on monday and it was here friday.

Overall like the looks but had a few minor gripes. Considering I have ABS, the hugger went on without any brake disassembly. Gripe one. The bracket under the hugger unknowingly caused me to put the front mount bolt in slightly angled. Which causd me to strip out the mounting point in the swinh arm. I would have preferred to strip the bolt as its a cheaper fix. Only the top few mm striped out so I was able to finagle a secue attachemt but will still get the stipped piece fixed at my 12,000 mile. Gripe 2. Cover cover is barely big enough for the two cables and the grommets barely fit in the holes designed for them. Inside the grommet there is a little threaded piece. It sits so far down in the gromet, the provided bolts don't reach. I had to actually start them by squishing the grommet down before putting them in the hugger, causing them to have a tough time seating once in place.

Its also a very tight squeeze over the tire, but I suppose its supposed to be. Left side is literally only 2-3mm from contact with tire.

But it does look good and will help keep grime off stuff.

Does the Lilley hugger have a slotted adjustment screw on the left side in the front ? If so try adjusting the front of the hugger down to give yourself a little more clearance from the tire. It took me a few moments to realize that adjusting the front of the hugger down increased the clearance in the rear.
