Excess heat on legs with Sprint RS

i've seen threads about this but can't seem to find them now. i took some cardboard, painted it flat black and cut to fit the side vents. they are pretty much invisible. took a ride and the engine didn't run any hotter. the heat just blew down under the bike and on my feet. so, this is something that could be dealt with with preferably adjustable plastic peices, like cowl flaps on a plane. it was a much more enjoyable ride without the heat. j

Interesting, you just gave me an idea!

Seen the new Benelli? It has side mounted fans that are just about in the same position as the "cooling" holes on the RS.

What about some small 12V extractor fans mounted on the inside of the fairing to suck the hot air out??

Hmmmm...............now to find a weatherproof unit!
