RS suspension set-up

I got into the owners manual and attemped to adjust my suspension. I went by their suggested setup for my weight, now the bike feels light in the turns. Every once in a while it feels like the rear tire slides out, and yes, they were warmed up. I set up the rear at 8 clicks the front at about 5mm. 34lbs in the front and 38 in the rear. I am using Pilot Powers. I weigh about 200 lbs, and I'm riding an '02 Sprint RS. Any suggestions?

5mm up front is a passenger setting. You have it set very firm. Why not start with the standard setting and work from there?

Thanks, thats exactly what I did this evening, set to factory setting, went out for a ride and was able to feel the difference right away, hit some twisties nearby and it was much better.

Yeah, standard advice is when you lose the rabbit, go back to stock settings and start over.
