Bad ass mofo

You could simply leave them on as a solemn reminder to other bugs not to mess with you and stay the hell out of your way!

Put wet towel on, leave to soak. Then gently rub with wet sponge and solution of mild detergent. Rinse with clean wet sponge. Leave to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct heat and direct sunlight. Wear subject clothing item. Get out and ride. Come back and repeat from step 1

That's always my answer to this age old question.

Bugs

Took it in the back yard and hosed them off, or you can scrape them off and save them for a snack later.

denman13 I use your method but I believe it is working in reverse. They appear to be more like bug decoys, such as would be used in duck hunting. The other bugs think it's a big party and want to come over and join in.

Nikos has it, but if you have a steamer put a few fresh towels in there and let them get moist with steam then lay them on your jacket or helmet. In about a minute you can use the other towel to just wipe them off. Works especially well on helmets and face shields you don't want to get scratched

LoVel, perhaps you have a bug cult in your area and they've sworn a mass entomological suicide pact. You are their "holy kool-aid" Sorry to say but sometimes you are thrust into deity-ship.
