Aprilia Futura, Honda VFR, Triumph Sprint ST, BMW R1150RS, Ducati ST4.

The current Sprint ST is the fastest in roll-on and the least expensive compared to the above bikes. Got dinged on brakes and suspension in the sport side of things. Faired very well in the touring aspect. They loved the triple engine!

Best we can do online is a "preview."

can be found here:Clicky!!

I heard via the grapevine that the Futura won, and the VFR beat out the Sprint - must be the ad copy they sell to Honda...

The Aprillia did indeed win. Then the VFR, Sprint, Ducati, Beemer.

The VFR was criticized for the V-tech engine and lack of power within this group. It was also the heaviest and the slowest in 60-80mph roll-on.

I tried one of the new VFR's before I bought the my Sprint. I wasnt impressed enough to buy one. It rubs my fur the wrong way the way the these magazines suck up to the big Jap 4. Clearly the Sprint is the superior bike, ahh well maybe in a few years, theyll get the reporting right.
