Brake Pads

I will need front / rear pad replacement soon. I know that many owners are using EBC pads.

Questions:

1. Are the T OEM pads organic or sintered?
2. Should I go for the FA236 organic or the stickier FA236HH sintered? I was thinking of going HH front / organic rear
3. Any impressions / comparisons to the stock pads? Will the HH be harder on the rotors than the stock pads?

Alternative would be to check out the Nissin aftermarkets which I used to use on my old 99 Sprint with good results (gold 'metallic' front / blue 'semi-metallic' rear)

HI Nikosr,

With all the business you give your tyre supplier, he ought to kick in some pads for you.:

I recently installed EBC HH pads front and rear - have about 800 miles since then, so they are completely seated.

What I notice -
a) sound - EBC HH squeal when braking - gets better over time but never goes away completely

b) braking power - initial bite is unbelievable, so you have to readjust your braking technique to get that gradual feel back or you will do the unintentionl stoppie easily (don't ask how I know)

c)increased drag - gets better overtime, but never goes away completely

d)my disks did show some darker areas but it doesn't affect braking, its not like they are glazed, but just dark, I have to use some brake cleaner and check it out again

Pads

I used the metal sintered of these front and rear, changed them all a week ago .No problems and 1/4 of the price of Triumph ones.
