Whats the FIRST thing you add to your new bike?

For me, since I've already owned a Sprint ST, it will definitely be:

1. Frame Sliders- I felt sooo unbelievably stupid dropping my brand new bike in the garage the day I got it home.

2. Stebel Nautilus 140decibel air horn, heck maybe even twin horns More mac truck sound to freak out the soccer moms that try to run me over with.

3. Tail Tidy with flashing brake lights, aka Electropods,

.

Anything to make me more noticeable and prevent damage in a drop.

What are your opinions?

You mean the fuel tank isn't full when you take ownership of your new bike? Mine was...

Your dealer is cheap if they don't fill the tank right before purchase.

Yes it was full.
Fuel was still the first thing I added to my new bike.

Then Hugger, Scottoiler, Tank Cover/Bra, Tank Bag, Triumph Decals on the fairing.

Electropods brake lights are getting bad reviews on other forums. It seems there are posters claiming that the flash feature has stopped working on theirs. One poster claims that upon examination he found poorly soldered connections. Other complaints are that the wire comes out the side of the unit instead of at the rear, and that the case is not waterproof.
I was going to buy a set and found that they were discontinued on some sites and offered at half price on another.

The first thing I added to my 06 Sprint was the 07 handlebars. Then a windscreen and tank protector. Next will be tail mount and bag. I'm kicking around the idea of putting on busa calipers up front but my brakes work great for me so it really isn't worth the money right now. I can't wait for the stock tires to wear out so I can get some good ones.

Cool, anyone know of a different brake light flasher that when braking it flashes your brake light fast and bright making you more visible than just a single on brake light?

I'm also looking for those rubber pads that you put on the tank where you grab the tank with your knees / thighs. They are clear with little nubs that improve grip on your tank.

Your help is appreciated.
