I bought some Castrol R4 Full synth, competition oil to put in my '00 ST. I bought it because it was reasonably cheap (for full synth) at AUD57. Anyway did the oil change and I was struck by how runny the oil was (and its cold down here atm). Its says on the back its suitable for all Japanese and European performance competition motorcycles. That sort of got me worried and wondering whether it might not be suitable for the Sprint. Its says on the back its for competition purposes. Anyone used it or have an opinion on it?

What is the rating.Triumph recomends 10W/40.If its a 5W/40 its going to be runnier at lower temps.

sorry I havent used it or seen it before.

I am sure some of our resident oil brain bugs here will know. I would check too if was me before I used it just as a precaution.
