Stock exhaust VS TOR weight difference...

During the TOR install, it seemed to me that the stock can and the TOR felt to be the same weight. I was wrong.

Here are the Contenders: Stock left, TOR right. (they sure look the same)

Your humble mechanic's weight:

Holding Stock exhaust:

Holding TOR:

Conclusion: I need to lose some weight !

You don't happen to have a before and after sound clip do you? I am thinking about doing the same thing but since there is a cat in the up pipe on the 07 I wonder if it would sound much different just replacing the can.

Sorry, no clip. However there are tons of comments on the sound on this board, and I agree with them. It definitely sounds more much more "robust", but at the same time it's not loud enough attract unwanted attention.

Go ahead and throw the popcorn at me, but the TOR basically reduces its weight and provides horsepower pains by cutting out the Cats, right? Personally, I've decided to keep the Cats and reduce a little pollution.

This is a relatively new green thing for me, I have a full cat-free Micron system on my SVS. But, maybe something to think about. In the end you're gaining what, 3 or 4 horsepower?
