Nice short ride??

I went for a short ride this morning, after finishing the top rack mounting. I suddenly found myself 30+miles from home. About a 70 mile round trip. Mostly sparsely traveled backroads. I was shocked when I noticed how far I had ridden..... Maybe this big gas tank isn't the blessing I thought it was. The scenery was nice and the music a la Sprint was enthralling..... Had to go home anyway. My wife has said that I have to be home each day by 7:00pm.....I get off work at 3:15.....yeeeehhhhhhhaaaaaa.

denman....yes she is...and has been for the last 27 years. Hard to believe we are this old. She still looks great......wish I could say the same for the old guy that I keep finding in mirrors, reflecting pools, store windows, etc. I haven't seen me for awhile.....I think I have been kidnapped by some old grey-haired cogger.

Well, I'm probably coming up behind you on that one. In the last two years my beard went completely gray, I've gained 23 lbs, my knees hurt and I watch a lot of History Channel. So I went out and bought a Sprint. Well that's not really the reason but it certainly didn't hurt in that department. And like the ad in the brochure says, "Oops, I just rode 300 miles for a quart of milk." Until the rainy season starts, I hardly drive my car at all these days.

P.s. congrats on 27 years. That's becoming a real rarity these days. My folks just celebrated their 45th. So there is hope out there.

Thanks, yeah we do seem to find other couples together so long rarer and rarer as time passes. Not only are we together.....we continue to get scolded by our child to "stop that" and "can't you leave each other alone for awhile". She is such a prude. Yeah, went to pick up a part from the tractor place, the heat index is 106, I'm in full gear, grinning like a fool. I am seriously falling in love. I can understand a couple of hundred miles for snacks or sodas, but 300 for milk, nah.

When I got my Sprint I used to think a 50 mile ride was far..lol...then it went to 100 miles...when I did 120 miles I thought WOW! Now I find myself at 300 miles and just shrugging my shoulders at that. Its just that comfortable and fun!
