So I'm in the process of getting a Sprint, and I'm wondering what, if any, accessories I should get with it...
A couple things on my mind right now are:
Tank bag
Heated Grips
Different screen (larger? db?)
Exhaust
What I want to know from you is what did you get, what do you like, what don't you like, what do you regret not getting, etc?
Thanks!!
Dan

I just recently bought mine and it was loaded.
It has a luggage locker tankbag system...luv it. (the tankbag never touches the tank)
I have all the bags including the top tour pak...luv it. (I ride it more than my car so I like to be able to carry a lot of stuff, I use the top pak more than the side bags)
Have the Triumph touring windscreen...luv it.(never tried the stock one and don't plan on it)
Gen-Mar risers on the bars...I would have gotten risers anyway but glad they were already on the bike.
Corbin seat...like it.
Getting the Triumph stainless can...can't wait, know I'll luv it!
No heated grips but with the touring windscreen my hands dont get alot wind hitting them...I have heated gear anyway.
I will be getting the throttlemeister throttle lock so my hand doesn't die on my highway trips.
Others will have their own opinions on what they have or want.

I have the Triumph Tank Bag... likely the bang for buck item.
I went for heated vest/chaps and gloves from widder. Heated grips are ok for cool riding, but cold riding means 'lectric gloves for me
Do not get the Triumph touring screen... or if you do really want one, I'll sell you mine for $75... I'll be replacing mine with a Cee Bailey tall svreen before spring... the Triumph touring screen creates huge turbulance if your head extends into the airstream... if you are 6' shorter you might get under the screens wind stream..... At 6'4" .. I do not. The noise is considerable. If I stand up it gets much quieter.. ??
Considering all the other "stuff" I could spend money on, the exhaust will be the last if at all.. the Sprint is just fine the way it is and I'd much rather spend $600 on a GPS and mount, than an exhaust.
I also ordered a custom sheepskin covoer for the stock seat... I'm expecting it to reduce the hot-butt syndrome...
as for the best "triumph" accessory... tough one... the Tank Bag is designed very well...

Throttlemiester. A must for any serious distance riding.

Well lots to still purchase but so far:
1. I added the front fender extender, it does a nice job of keeping debris from denting the radiator.
2. Gen-Mar bar risers, for an inch and a quarter they make quite a difference in sitting position.
3. Cee Baileys 17" windscreen, works great. I didn't like the way it looked so I rounded off the square upper corners. I'm told in doing so I may as well have bought the 16.5".
4. Luggage Rack is great.
5. A freebie was the mufflerectomy. Made quite a difference in engine responsiveness.
6. K&N Air Filter, Helps bike breath better.
7. Dropped a tooth on the front sprocket.
8. Added the CF tank protector.
Want to add a rear hugger, an MRA DB screen, a Powermax under seat exhaust and after I win the lottery a supercharger, Race Tech Front Springs and an Ohlins rear shock.

Did you have to remap the FI with the K&N and the mufflerectomy?
Thanks! It looks like I'm going to pick it up this weekend! :-D

My 02 was pretty damned loaded when I got it.
GenMars, never rode without, but love them.
3pc luggage, ride with the trunk on all the time (commuting). Great for mail, milk, work gear.
Heated grips--these things are great!
Tall windshield, also have the stock and double bubble type, should be nice in the summer.
Corbin seat--nice, but the stock isn't too bad either.
Carbon Fiber Triumph exhaust, don't know what the stocker sounds like, but the growl is very nice!
I also have a tankbag for my electronics (MP3, sat radio, and comms). Anyone work out a way to mount a GPS?
I had the Throttlemiester on my Concours, and didn't care for it. It will engage itself over time, and wasn't as good as the plastic NEP type locks.

My bike came with the Carbon fiber exhaust and the two panniers. I live in Arizona, so heated grips are a non-issue. Would like to pick up a taller screen, the wind blast hits at about the armpit level. Nice in summer, not so in winter. Don't feel I need bar risers. I'm 6'-1" with pretty long arms so never felt like I was "reaching" for the bars.
As far as stuff I will be buying, probably a bike alarm. two wheelers are stolen quite often here. Also will look into the Racetech upgrade for the forks. Great bike overall, but the suspension is one of the first places a company scrimps on to meet a price point.
