Battery Rubber strap

I posted this in another posting but figure I would give you guys the heads up...noticed when I got my new rubber strap for my battery hold down...the part number was superceded and the rubber strap seems to be made of a different type of rubber...definetly seems stronger..not so elastic...could it be that triumph has a new rubber supplier? If so I hope they do it for the relay holders too!

Smear the replacements with silicone dielectric grease inside and out. It will keep ozone off them and they'll do much better.

Bat strap

I suspect the old part number is the same part for the pre 1050 bikes as there was an issue many had with the rubber rotting.

Kind of funny 'cos mines 3 years old and fine.
