Personally, I do not find the heat while riding a Sprint to be a problem.
There are other bikes that are worse, and some that are better.

I have been wondering if the US manadated SAI causes an increase in temperature, since it injects air downstream of the exhaust valve to effect complete combustion.
I know we have forum members who have disabled the SAI on their bikes. It would be interesting to know if any of them noticed a difference in the heat felt while riding? Also might be interesting to find out if our 'non SAI' brethern have heat issues? And try to be objective if you answer. I already know you guys are tougher than the US wusses.

I haven't felt the heat to be anything that would prevent me from riding. I notice it but it isn't bad enough to be an issue for me. I've heard from others that passengers feel more of the brunt of it than the pilots. Although I did some two-up last weekend and my passenger didn't mention anything about it so it couldn't have been that bad.
