I just got my bike back from the shop (Rocket Motorcycles). I was planning on a ride tomorrow. If you guys read this message before the morning, would you mind a tagalong?

Thanks to Dan and Jerry for having me along for their ride. We rode to Lake Hodges, Idyllwild and Hemet via backroads and lesser known highways. I rode around 200 miles for the day. Nothing too eventfull happened, just a good day away from reality. The weather was nice, a bit windy and chilly for a few miles, sunny the rest of the time. Thanks again, I will be down several times over the next few months so we should do it again.

Don says.."And everything is mud" Well, duh??? Why do you think they call it.."Mudville"!! Maybe you could take the wheel pants offa' yer' plane and put em' on the Sprinter!! Does anyone make a mud & snow tire for motorcycles??

Chris..You are great company and it still blows me away how we share so many interests and hobbies. Ironic??? I think you'll get along just peachy with the others that normally ride with us. I think we'd all make a fun group.

Now, if we could only get Don and Mr. Fastcat down here, we'd be ther terror of the So. Cal back roads. E-hah!!

Hey Don, have you considered leaving the Sprinter down here at Montgomery Field?? Yeah, we too get rainy/muddy days. About 4 a year (hah!)

Chuck..sorry you missed the ride. I had'nt checked for any messages on the board Sun. morning before leaving, guess I shoulda. But, if your'e still in the area, you are welcome to join us anytime you want. The more the merrier!!

And that goes for anyone here in the S. Diego county/Inland empire area. Finding good riding chums is hard, even harder finding ones riding Triumphs.

Guys, it was a good day all around. We'll do it again.

Haven't heard that name in awhile. Used to work dang near across the street on Aero Drive. Many a happy hour at Casa Machado (sp?)......
