I was looking at the Bagster tank bag system and would like to get your opinion on the fit and functionality on a 2005 - 2007 Sprint ST 1050. If you have a picture of the Bagster system on your bike it would be much appreciated.

Also, who sells the Bagster system?

How are you JTXR....Bagster makes good gear, so I imagine
it would fit well....although fitting can sometimes be a bit of a hassle, as for supply, any Dealer should be able to order it for you.
rgds Sean.

I've had a bagster on my ST since day one.

I have some photos of it: http://c-note.dk/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=892, no bag though,

Regards/Casper

I ordered mine from the people I have listed below at their tent during bikeweek in Daytona about 2 years ago. They are the USA dealer for Bagster. I don't think they have a web site.

I found bagster as a very useful equipment for my ST1050. As I'd been going to travel to various places in Europe with my wife, I needed a lot of space extra and I bought one of the biggest Bagster bags (Medea model).
I'm satisfied by its quality and functionality (number of very practical pockets). It suits fine to the bike - no collision with handle bars or front brake pump.

Taken off from the bike it's a very comfortable backpack.

I'll try to find any pictures of my bike with the bag installed if you're still interested in.

I can tell you why I do not like the Triumph ones (I'm waiting for my dealer to get my Baglux ones in)
PS I have had Baglux on my last three bikes

The tank cover is leather and I don't think it will be as durable as the synthetic Bagster one
When the bag is not attached there is a large leather flap with a zip on it (the bags attach to this at the rear) that flaps about when riding.
Ditto two straps with quick release clips at the front.
The straps and quick release clips at the front can get sandwiched between the bars and cover.
You must take the pannier rails and seat and seat cowl off to fit/remove the cover.
The bags will only fit the Triumph cover and cannot be transferred to another bike (Baglux bags are universal)

But you pays your money and you makes your choice

Got mine now - here's a couple of pics. With Bagster you can get the size bag you want and move it between bikes. I got the black as they do a red one but past experience tells me the colour match is not always perfect
