Anyone know how to take the bungs out without trashing them? I've got one out put the top has come off leaving the (threaded?)plastic in th captive nut.

If I recall, one can unscrew these with a fingertip. Fingertip pressure... add unscrewing motion... bingo.

I destroyed one trying to pull it straight out. Then I realized they're screwed in there. Think I got the second one out as described.

I just take a sharp object (centre punch) and a hammer. I place the punch near the edge of the bung and gently tap the bung out anti-clockwise. Similar to unscrewing a screw.

If I*****-up the bung, no worry, the dealer has a bunch of replacements in a jar to give away, if needed. :upthumb:

Well I have suceeded by using a rubber glove (ooh err!) and the push and twist techniqe. The punch and hammer technique sounded like it could end in tears and scratched paintwork.
Getting the broken piece of plastic out was a pig!
