I've ordered the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's and should have them within a week or so. A friend who is very motorcycle savvy ( used to race) said he'd be willing to change the tires for me. he has a pretty good home mechanics shop.

Absent the dealership jigs/fixtures, etc for a single swing arm, any suggestions I can pass on to him in terms of do's and don'ts. He's not familiar specifically with the Sprint so I thought to ask. He is confident he can do it but I thought any helpful suggestions might avoid any probs. Thanks,

He will need an adapter to balance the rear tire.

If this is your first tire replacement, the 46mm nut is usually way over torqued so get a steel pipe for some leverage.

only the Rear? Corsa 3's? on a Sprint? I don't think it'll handle all 110 RWHP. But great grip in the rain! Let me guess your racer buddy reccomended them. Its your money.

Corsa III's are bit overkill on the Sprint. I run Diablo Stradas on my Sprint RS, and I run a rear Strada (with a Diablo front) on my D650. Unless you're going to the track, or most of your riding is canyon strafing, you really don't need that kind of tire. Not to say they aren't a great tire for hard charging corner work, just that the Strada will last longer and probably work just fine for your riding.
