Looks pretty cool! Says it is only 10 litres but it looks bigger than that.

Is this the one you're discussing?

it looks exactly the same as the S3 tailbag which I just ordered last Friday for my Sprint. The parts manager told me it fits on the Sprint too.... so I'm guessing its the same bag. the last number for the part is different though.

I was interested in the tail pack for my ST but after reading the description and looking at the mounting of the pack, I'll pass on it. This mounting sure does blow the engineers theory of not having to remove the seat for any reason. Can you imagine everytime you wanted to ride two up, or just want to remove the mounting base you have to remove the seat.

the mounting is tapped into the seat and then there's a quick on and off zipper detachment for it. after the research I did on tailpacks this is the best system. I really dislike bungey cords.

oh and I leave the seat bolts off my seat.... makes it super fast to it take off.

I have a keyed seat, what are these seat bolts you speak of?

Tail pack 10 litres

I have a keyed seat also don't know what they'er on about JT!

Seriously I don't have the Triumph tail pack but Iceman and I both have the ventura pack rack system and both have the Ventura tail pack which is also 10 litres and I have this on all the time and find it most useful.

Iceman has a 1050 Sprint and I have the last model 955i.

heres the story: I orderd the S3 tail bag. I was told it fits. while on order
about 2-3 days later a sprint tail bag shows up in the accessories section of the triumph web site.

but it turns out the s3 one looks like it needs to be slightly modded to fit.
I just gave it back to my dealer this morning for exchange for an actual sprint tail bag.

the straps are wrapped around the seat and bolted into the opposite underside. where? I'm not sure since the directions that I was referring to were for the S3.

I will report back on this when I'm set up.
