Thought you guys might be interested in seeing a PhotoShop job I did for a guy here in New Zealand - he's keen to get his machine painted in the Union Jack so I whipped this up for him :].

*click for a larger image if you're keen. Here's the link to the original image.

Cheers,
Romeo (NZ)

Nice job there Romeo! People's photoshop skills amaze me sometimes. Did you see this one by bakwheeltango?

Romeo-That's incredible! Your Shop-fu is strong. They're both very well done.

I think he is a web design guy or something like that. I think he said he uses PS in his daily work.

I like how yours has that "waving in the breeze" effect.

Yes, the force is strong with both of you.

Just out of curiosity, how many layers did you break the bike down into in photo shop? I did a mock up of my Sprint with a red frame and rims and it took me an hour just to do that with 3 layers.

If anyones interested in learning how to change the colour of their bike here's how to do it... You'll need Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photo-Paint to do it though.

1) Get your bike image (the fairings need to be coloured though).
2) Use the mask tool to select around the fairings of the bike and make a copy of the fairings. So you have 2 layers, the original image and a 2nd layer with just the fairings.
3) Adjust the Hue of the fairings layer - from blue to red or whatever (probably an option called "Adjust Hue, Saturation and Brightness" in the top menu somewhere).
4) Tidy up the fiarings layer with the eraser around the edges.

Done - that's how to get a simple one colour change, most of you probably already know how to do that but some might not.

It took me about 2-3 hours to get the flag on the Sprint though. I took an image of a flag, morphed it in PhotoPaint, put it into Corel-Draw and vectored it. Then I copied it into PhotoPaint and layed it over the bike. I used these as templates when cutting out the fairings layers - so I had red, blue, white and darker-white sets of fairings. It's all pretty complicated TBH ;s.

Romeo I too am impressed with your skills.

It looks awesome!

Now tell me as a fellow that grew up as a Jaffa but was born in the BOP, where is that shot taken?
