Just wondering how many of us are here. And, what sources of aftermarket stuff we have found. As you know, no one actually lists the '04 RS.

I've got the '03 SSSA RS (supposedly 5 came to Canada that year, but none to the US). Same machine as the '04 otherwise.
I'll rate my accessories from one to three stars (three being best):
Triumph - front fender extender *** / double bubble ** / lower fairing (came with bike) ** / luggage rack * / top box **.
Sky King - sliders *** / bar risers ** / and soon to have rear fender eliminator.
Sargeant - seat **.
Wolf/Trident - stubby pipe ***.
Now runs on Avon Storm tires *****. I give 5 stars here.

Why not look for accessories from the 04 ST? aside from the bodywork, all other components are shared.

04 RS SSSA with Staintune high mount exhaust, R&G frame sliders, Ventura rack system, MRA touring windscreen, Throttlemeister cruise control, carbon fiber rear hugger, Clear Alternative integrated tail light, Pazzo levers, Sargent seat, and ST handle bars for long rides. I hasn't been too difficult to find after market stuff, you just have to look for 04 ST items.

SSSA = Single Sided Swing Arm
If you can see most of that sexy rear alloy on the right side (barring the exhaust obscuring it) you have an SSSA.
If you have two nasty pieces of box section alloy joining both ends of the rear axle to the chassis you have DSSA.
Sorry, as an ST rider I'm biased. I think that view of the rear wheel behind the exhaust is the dogs 'ollocks and is finished off by the nut cover!

I was under the impression that all '04 RS's were built on the ST frame and thus SSSA. They were also only in black. I've been trying to find a sport oriented "double bubble" type screen for my RS but haven't seen any from the most common manufacturers. I have a Puig on my Ducati 998 and it's great but they don't make one for the Sprint.

bruce19,
Try Skidmarx, they make a double bubble for the Sprint RS. Wind screens are the same for all RS models 1999-2004, ST wind screens will not fit the RS. I heard the same thing about 04 RS's being left over STs, but others will swear that the steering geometry is different? I've seen the SSSA RS in blue also, I have a black one. I don't have any complaints about my RS, it has been a great, trouble free, bike since I got it new in 2004. Check to see if your fuel tank connectors have be replaced with the stainless steel ones, it was a recall item back in 2005.
