I have recommended bikebandit in past posts for ordering parts. I have since found that they are extremely slow responding to any problems you may encounter with an order. I placed an order on 6/10 and got an e-mail that it was shipped on 6/20. I tried to do a FedEx track on it on 6/23 and found that it was not in the FedEx system. I e-mailed bikebandit 3 times and all I received back was a form response that they would look into it. I tried their Live Help feature 3 times during their business hours and got form responses again. I looked at their web site for a phone number and could not find one. I finally found a phone number for them on a Kawa site and called. All I got was a recording. I finally got a live person to respond to the Live Help feature who checked it out and said "FedEx" dropped the ball. Maybe they did, but bikebandit never bothered to check it out and ignored all my requests for assistance.
I then ordered the parts through my dealer and was surprised to find that the prices were the same as bikebandit.

So, Use bikebandit with caution, compare prices with your dealer, and then expect no bikebandit customer service if something goes awry with your order.

2 1/2 weeks with my gaskets using express service, but then again, non of the dealers around here stock all three simple gaskets. And if the dealer said "yeah, we got em", they mean "we only have two here". Turns out, more than one tech couldn't properly read the parts diagram.

I've only used them for parts for my 30 year old Honda. Shipping was kind of slow both times. I agree that 'in stock' doesn't necessarily mean 'in house'. :???:

Still, in the end they came through for me each time without *too much* delay. They were the only ones that listed the parts that I needed.

My concern with them is not the time it takes to get the parts. My concern is that they do not have a customer service department and phone number if there is a problem with an order. Their web site says they will respond to an e-mail within a day if possible. Trust me, it ain't possible. Plus, their prices are no better than anyone else, dealers included.

thanks OND. I haven't used them, but the diagrams/schematics and price listings online are pretty nice though for reference!

Yes, they are convenient in that respect. Good marketing on their part. Just don't expect any customer service after the sale.

I agree that there should be someone to talk to when things aren't right.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't like the way their web site is set up either. I want to be able to go and look at ALL aftermarket parts for the Sprint so I can "shop" as you will, for different things. But that "Step One - pick a part, then bike and year" means you can only look at one part at a time. Unless I missed some search feature that's not obvious.

As far as OEM parts go, I think Triumph must have strict terms in their distributor contracts because no matter where I shop for Triumph parts, the price is always EXACTLY the same.

I just ordered some parts from R&G Racing in UK on 6/20. I will let you know what happens with that order and how long it takes to get here.

I've used Bike Bandit and Great Bay Triumph. Both the same in terms of time to receive part and price. Took a few weeks, but I was in no rush either.
For example I ordered 4 rubber thingies for the rear mud guard about two weeks ago. Original completely dry rotted(typical). Still waiting, but fender will hold for awhile.

I HATE going to my local dealer. THE worst customer service. I'd rather have it sent to me.

Thing about it, is that if you're in a rush EVERYONE seems to be slow :-D
