I called today to order a corbin, and was told the rs version was not made no more.
I thought the rs and st seat were the same.

I guess I have to find another option.

TIA
Raul

thats what I figured. So technically if I ignore what they tell me and order a 99-on st corbin it should fit my rs the same?
I only asked since I whent to order one yesterday over the phone and the guy told me they had fitment problems between st and rs so they stoped making the rs one, wich made no sence to me.

They are one and the same. The seat is a little hard to mount at first but it breaks in over time and pops right on just fine.

Check with your local dealer and see if Parts Unlimited has any in stock- you may save a little over the direct from Corbin price and support your local guy in the bargain.

I seem to remember people speaking of tight fits, but I don't have any problem. For your own peace of mind, stop by your dealer, or find someone yourself, with a matching ST to do a quick trade with your existing saddle and theirs. In theory, at least, if their seat fits yours, so should the Corbin. Simple answer.

Oh, I have heard of accessory fitment problems with the Corbin, so if you have an aftermarket rack, hard bags, or grab rail it might not work.

What about sending yours in or getting one off a salvaged bike and sending it to them. I think some guy in ebay has a Sprint seat. It's been awhile since I looked.

I've got the Corbin Gun Fighter and Lady "ST" version seat on my 02 RS and it fits fine. Have also used the Triumph grab rail and Triumph rack without any issues.

I've got the ST Corbin on my RS. The Corbin backrest doesn't interfere with ventura soft luggage racks.
