does anyone know what the capacity is for the Triumph top box on an '06 sprint?I am looking at a damaged one one e bay,but there is also a Kappa 46 litre for £155 online, which seems like a good deal.Nice as it would be to have all the bags matching i would just like a good system to travel with, and take it all off when i get home.If the Triumph has a much smaller capacity the choice will be easier to make, anyone?

If its a genuine Triumph top box the inner dimensions make it difficult to get much in it despite its size.

If it has the lock already installed the current owner will have to surrender one of his ignition keys to you as the locks are not designed to come out. Apparently its possible if you drill the rivets from the lock housing to gain access.

In my humble opinion, the factory luggage for the +05 series is *****.

SW Motech/GIVI is a better system.

Hope this helps.

Brett.

Go for the Kappa. The odd shape of the inside of the Triumph Top Box makes it hard to use, you can barely fit in one helmet.
On my last long weekend trip I only used it for some small stuff and put all my clothes and stuff in a roll bag.

excellent advice, thanks guys.the triumph top box has reached £116 plus £12 postage on Ebay!!!and its got a huge grind down one side and a scratch on the top panel :???: .
i have always been suprised about how much space you actually need to get all yer stuff on board, the Kappa/Givi should do it.
