Difference b/w 05 and 06 Fairing

I just discovered that the lower right-hand fairing on my 05 is cracked. I looked on ebay for a new/used fairing section and all I could find in silver is an 06. Does anyone know if that will fit my 05?

Yes.

Fairing was redesigned for the 07 models (larger side opening) and I'm not sure if a 07 will fit the older models.

Just make sure you get the extra bits that come with it (padding, heat shield).
