I have not worried about this until now...my temp gauge never goe above about 1/4 above the C. No matter how cold or how hot that's as far as it goes. Fan comes on like it is supposed. Coolant is good. What do y'all think?

Can't really speak to the '01 Sprint but on the '06, my fan doesn't come on until the temp guage is just over 3/4 toward 'hot'.

If the temp gauge only goes as high as you state, how can you be confident that the fan is coming on when it should? Hopefully it is, but you should get it checked out.

my temp rarely goes above your range at most 50% up the gauge when its really hot outside 85 degrees far. or hotter.
i do ride a 97 though might be different
