Can you supply the wire colors? Is your bike ABS?

Sorry, I don't have the expertise to help without the colors. Just guessing at possibilities: ABS/Alarm/Canister Purge (Cal only)/SatNav. The ABS has 2 each 2 pin connectors for each wheel. The purge valve has one 2 pin connector. The alarm connector has 12 pins. The SatNav has 2 pins.
Hopefully, somebody might remember or have pics.

My purge connector is a grey 2 pin with a spring wire release.
Brown/Pink is switched 12 volts
Yellow/Red goes to the ECU where it gets grounded to operate the solenoid, should it exist.

I am not certain but I believe non ABS bikes have different harnesses. You shouldn't have an ABS connector.

Have you removed or had SAI removed?

Are you sure the white two pin isn't the fuel sender that you forgot to hook back up? :-D

Photo?

I just noticed that OND mentioned the alarm connector. On my machine it is a black 12 pin connector loosely clipped to the inside of the right frame member (tends to fall off).
It should not br unused. Without an alarm it should be mated to a two wire loopback connector. It may have appeared unsused at first glance.
