got a 06' undertail exhaust off ebay. though this would be a good winter project. has anyone looked at this to see if it will work. maybe more work than it is worth. the reason I was going to try this is I don't like riding with the bags all the time and the muffler does not not look good without the bags on.
thanks for any help, Ron

I am not sure about this site, but I know a couple of guys over at T595net have put non conventional undertails on their bikes.

Ronniena,
mate if you take a look at my album you will see my T595 Daytona with a custom built underseat exhaust. I have also included a photo of all the bits you will need to make. I had to move the water reservoir forward to the left side of the fairing and build a new metal battery box.

Anyway hope this helps.

Don't have one yet, but Wolff has an underseat for these that I'm eying.
I have no connection with them.

We do an under seat conversion for these as Dolson says - take a look at www.trident-exhausts.com

thanks y'all.

looks like it will be worth it, may go ahead and do it now. I will need the tail light parts.

I was also looking at a twin set up. taking the passenger pegs off and routing the ex. there. I don't think that would
be to hard to do. the only thing is it would mess up the bag.

tankman your bike looks good. does the seat get hot. have you drilled the ex. if so what size hole? thanks Ron

I managed to channel air in under the seat from the mesh covered scopes at the side, which seems to keep things pretty cool. In fact I still have room to carry my tool kit and some other stuff. All up it took about 4 weeks to build and cost about $2500.00 Aust to make.
