Well, after endless searches, scowering the internet and test rides I just put a down payment on a new '06 Sprint ST ABS in Silver. I'm so f*%#&%g excited. I get her next week after they prep her and install the heated grips. The guys at MCC in Villa Park hooked me up and earned my business. Now I just have to wait....aarg! Pics to come.
Mitch

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love your new bike, and working with the guys at MCC must be great. I've been to their shop a few times and it's incredible.

Thanks all for the kudos! Can't wait to pick her up. Funny thing about the MCC guys is that I never actually went to the shop. Never been there in fact. This went down over a phone call. I talked to Geoff the owner and told him what I was looking for. He was way cool and gave me a solid deal. Gave him my CC# for the deposit and the deal was done. I'm a big believer in customer service and based upon our conversation I have every reason to believe that they have a customer for life.

You haven't been there yet? When I think about opening a shop, theirs is the example I have in mind. For as small as the shop is they cram it full of amazing bikes. Last time I was there (early April) they had an MV Augusta, one of the 999 Zerox race reps, and several of the retro Ducatis in addition to some Triumphs. Plus all the leathers you can't find anywhere else. I could spend days there. Plus they are real riders, I think they road race now and I've met guys who said they used to dominate off-road racing with Husqvarnas. I wanted to go back last weekend when they had the Ducati demo trailer there, but had a wedding to attend in S.IL.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record.......

Get some frame sliders you don't want to know how expensive that plastic is!

I'm sure you'll love it, the more I ride the more I enjoy, which is the way it should be!

Cheers
