Hose connection?

Can someone tell me what the hose goes to that comes of the disk in the center right of the cover plate in the photo below. What is the disk like thing? When my new fuel fitting were install the hose wasn’t reconnected. I need to look for it. I’ve found the end of a hose that’s not connected at the back of the engine that runds up around the back of the cilinder/throtel bodies/head but it’s too large for the fitting.



The thing I’m talking about is behind the front fuel fitting in this picture.

According to my shop manual, that would be the fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks! I thought that’s what it was but couldn't find it in my Haynes’s manual. Just look again and found it. Now I have to pull the side panel and see if the hose is hanging off the air cleaner housing.
