Around a grand for the bags and the mounting kit.

Installation is 2-3 hours.

Sorry I accidentally deleted the original post....

The question was: What are used Panniers worth. I'm considering a set at $500 CDN. No keys and scraped on one side.

Another question: They're ST bags. Will they fit my RS?

IIRC, you can buy the hardware (mounting) kit separately. Intallation is quite involved. There are several mounting and reinforcing bits, and a load of fasteners.

I think the kit and the bags are the same for both the ST and RS.

You might try a "Completed Items" search on eBay to see what bags have sold for recently. No locks and scuffed up; sounds a bit steep at 500cdn.

There were no specific bags for the RS but they will fit as the ST rear end is the same.

$500 (can) seems a bit steep for my liking especially scratched with no keys!!

Keep an eye on Ebay. :-D

2-3 hrs? ***** your dealer ripped you off bad. I can completely remove mine and re-install it again in less than 30 mins... And that's if I'm not in a hurry...

And yea, the panniers should be mountable on the RS, but you might have clearance issues with the exhaust if it can't be lowered like the ST's. But since I don't own an RS, I have no clue if they are movable like the ST''s or not...

You'll have do do some custom work to the exhaust can mounting to get them to fit on an RS. There is a guy on here who did it. Post a question for him. He had nice pics of the work. I'd offer the guy 300, see what he says. Good luck. :-D
