I have a favor to ask. Could those who have the Trident Exhaust send to my email address or post here (if possible) some photos and any observations you have on this particular exhaust. I am seriously considering purchasing one and would like to hear from those that already have.

My email is Triumphrider@comcast.net.

Thank you, Chris.

I will take any sound files as well.

Thanks again.

Please let me know what you find, I'd be happy to help host files. Also, if you get one, let me know how much shipping is to the US.

Chris,

I don't have the Trident exhaust so I can't comment on it but here is a link to a video clip... maybe you've seen it, maybe not. You can run a search to confirm but I seem to recall the price was around $820 shipped, depending on what conversion rates are doing. Anyway, I've been trying to decide what to do myself... wish there were a few more options out there. Hope this helps a bit!

Cheers,
Mark

There are quite a few posts on here about them:
http://www.triumphrat.net/modules.ph...57941&forum=20

And this is what the guy in the video said on this site

"Hi, the bike in the video is mine with wolf cans on, i can tell you that i am still getting 42-46 mpg, you can notice the power increase mainly at 6-8rpm and all round feels like it wants to go it bloody sounds great.
Wolf put there bike on the dyno after fitting and map & a 6bhp increase.
Went to a triumph dealer a couple weeks ago & the mechanic was well inpressed, said it was a lot louder than the tor, deeper & throatier.
Lost all my heat problems from seat & grab rail with the carbon cans.
All in all the best bit of kit i have brought & i just don't want to get off the bike now"

And another guy said

""I would like to take this opportunity to compliment you on the dam fine workmanship on this system, especially the joining pipe 1 into 3, is a superior piece of art, the pipes themselves are also outstanding and really compliment the rear end of the Sprint. Now it totally looks awesome. and the Sound is unreal. I didn't even think my bike could sound like that."

Well done to you."

All in all we have only had positive feedback on this and frankly looking at it and hearing it I am not surprised- it's beautiful!!

BTW - since the first pipes went out we have improved the pipe work for slightly better flow and now see 7.8 bhp increase on the dyno with the TOR tune.

If anyone needs more info please just drop me a line...

Wolf,

Have you done any comparisons between your exhaust and the TOR regarding performance curves?

My write up and pics can be found here:

Now with everything in place I am extremely happy with my Trident system. While my "stubby" can is more of a "miniature" can in most respects, Trident can now make a "true" stubby if you so desire.

Shvak - the pipes on the new ST that these guys are on about are totally different from your RS - we use 3 under the seat on the new ST...

I like the good review though - thanks!

Nikos R

Yes the Trident pipe weighs 4 lbs less than the TOR and adds more power - plus it just blows it away on looks - the TOR looks like stock - the Trident looks like art!!

Well now maybe I should get a discount for increasing interest yet again eh Mr. Sorrell

Ok, if I am going to order these which way do you recommend, through Trident or Jack Lilley. The only reason I bring up Jack Lilley is I need to get a rear hugger and I may kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks, Chris.

Chris

Direct from me (Trident) is best - much quicker and the cost will be the same as JL have us drop ship so you'll have two sets of shipping anyway... But to be fair I'll do you $50 off the shipping cost to help out...
