All the smoke kept me in the house, so I was looking at albums and saw it in the'Hinckley Triumph Motorcycle Albums'.
It looks like a factory part but is not in the catalog. The picture says 06, but doesn't have a submitter name for contact.

oldndumb - great minds think alike... I was just about to post a question about tail bags. A while back there was a thread (which I can't find now...) all about tail bags and there seemed to be lots of good recommendations. Well now I'm in the market for a tail bag so that I do my commute without my hardbags and without resorting to wearing my backpack again... (lane splitting with the hardbags is doable but can get quite interesting at times... )

So please chime in again on the old tail bag subject with your recommendations / links... Thanks!

Mine's a Chase Harper.
On or off in 30 seconds.
And you can keep your helmet in there.

Found a sight that seems to have a good selection - I'll probably end up going for one of these as I don't want to go the route of having a base that is attached to the seat. Good prices too compared to some I've seen:

O-n-D, That looks very similar to a brand called Axio, but then I noticed it did not have a hard shell. The Axio tail pack has a hard cover, and comes in 3 colors; red, bue, and silver, plus carbon fiber. They are the best looking bags I've seen. I have one on order, will post a review once received. To take a look go to:
www.axio-usa.com/ open proucts scroll down to motorcyle bags, it is their only tail pack, I think you may be impressed at the styling and capacity.

OND that tailbag looks as though it maybe made from a tank bag and latched under the seat. That maybe why none of us have seen it before.

buddy of mine has a BMW GS1200 that his pack goes on the same way. There is a piece that goes around the seat and then the pack zips to that. I'm going to get in touch with him and find out who makes it
