Between about 3000 and 3750 revs, the left side fairing buzzes. A lot. It is really sh****ng me.

If I lean down and put my finger on the middle bolt that secures the upper and lower fairing halves together, the buzzing stops. The bolt itself is plenty tight. Anyone else have the same problem? Any ideas as to how to stop it?

Cheers,
Tim

If it stops just by putting your finger on it then do that :hammer: Otherwise use a rubber washer inbetween it?

Tim, I had a similar buzz in my fairing (except emanating from the right side) but I wasn't lucky enough to pinpoint the source. So I took it to my dealer, who likewise couldn't locate it. A couple months later I hit the deer. All new body plastic remedied the problem completely.

Not a solution I suppose you're considering...

Good luck. I hate rattles, but not as much as I hate deer.

Same deal on my '06 SprintST. I put felt between the black plastic piece and the gauge pod. You remove the top peice of black plastic that is closest to the wind screen first. Then, you remove the piece that buzzes against the gauges.
I got some felt that had sticky tape on one side and adhered it to the lower black plastic piece.
Confused yet?

Does anyone find the 'buzz' proportional to front tire cupping?
