I just bought an 03 Sprint ST, and I need to soften up the rear a bit. I looked for my manual, but I think it got stored away in the process of moving.

The guy before me had it set up for a 230 lb rider, a passenger and luggage. I'm about 190 and ride with a light load. Right now the rear is far to stiff, are there any baselines I can follow for adjusting the screw through the access hole in the frame, like how many turns to go, or at least which direction loosens it up.

Thanks in advance!
