Seems from reading through the archives on oil filters that the Purolator Pure One is one of the best, Model PL 14612.

Any suggestions on where to buy them? Internet? Retail?

Pep Boys is the only place that I have found them around here, I know that AutoZone doesn't carry them in this area.

Pep Boys is where I always find them, but I'm going to try Sears too. Pep Boys always seems to run out of the PL-14610 and for some reason can't seem to figure out that if you are always out of stock to 'BUY A FEW MORE!'

Note:
PL 14612 - Stock Length
PL 14610 - .59" longer than Stock

I find the Purolators at every auto store I've gone to in Fl., even Wallyworld. They are stocked because they fit several autos. Autozone stocks the wrench for around $5.00.

...picked up the PL14610 at Advance Auto this weekend for about 6 bucks w tax. I'm waiting for the oil to show up on my front door...ordered that from Shop.com for 4.95/quart for Mobil 1 Mx4T. HUGE savings over Triumph shop prices...$17.95 for the filter, over $70 for the oil (last years prices)...I don't think so!

Charlie..

p.s. The 14610 is a little longer than the 14612 and is easier to get at. The manual states 4.22 quarts so I just round up to 4.25 quarts and the bike is happy...

PL 14612? Hey, that's what I use for my 3.5 Nissan! I like the K&N 191 for my 955 since it's got that nut welded on.
