07 Sprint ST vs. 07 Tiger

Anyone had a chance to ride the two bikes? What impressions did you have? How did they compare? The ergos seem one obvious difference. My dealer said he had no trouble selling the 07 Tigers but couldn't move the Sprints - resulted in an excellent deal for me :-D

Nope only sat on one and decided it was too tall for me and I'm 6'1" but in reality I think it was more a case of preference to a more leaned over stance - the Tiger was too upright for me.

I'm not surprised that the Tigers are selling well - they've had a lot of good press and they look the part plus with the success of the 675 suddenly a lot of eyes are on new Triumph bikes so the new Tiger is getting a lot of interest. Glad you got a good deal - I see you got the best colour!

I agree they seem tall... I wonder if Triumph is targeting same demo as BMW GS bikes and really wanted to know how the Tigers ride in comparison to our ST's. Someone wrote that they were more expensive and maybe the suspension front fork contributes? I will have to ride one myself :razz:
