fuel lamp

hi , can anyone tell me how much fuel is left in tank once lamp comes on ?. 2001 sprint st !. thanx .

You are better of working it for your bike, it is unlikely that any bike is the same

Fill the tank to the top, as much as you can get in it, according the the manual that is 19.5 ltr (4.29 UKgall) ride it until your fuel light comes on then fill it back up. Simple arithmatic will give you the answer you are looking for.

My 2004 sprint fuel light is pretty consistant at 16 ltr (3.5 gall). It actually annoysme, to point where I am considering taking the bulb out. I always ride in the trip odometer so don't need a bloody light.

The light on my 06 comes on really early.. I got about 60 miles last time after the light came on. Kinda different that what I'm used to b/c on my old bikes once the light came on.. TIME TO GET GAS.. LOL :razz:
