Just had the drag link replacement kit fitted under warranty. The kit involves new spacers with bearings and sleeves, plus a new bolt.
It has been seven months since, the problem occurred to me and Rus Cook returning from the Port Macquarie RAT Raid, in August 2006.
The workshop manager told me that the first lot of kits Triumph sent were below quality, and were returned, hence the wait.
Still waiting on replacement rubber battery strap and rubber kit that holds relays in, RH side fairing panel. My Sprint will two year old in June, though may as well get these replaced under warranty.
