I'm going to wire in my intercom this coming weekend and use my tail light wiring to supply the power can anyone tell me what wires they used for wiring their intercoms, I need to know the colors of the wires leading to the tail lights and the polarity. My bikes in pieces right now so I can't turn on the power to discover the hot wires. also those that have spliced into the tail light harness did you use those clamp on taps or skin the wire a bit then solder the wires??

On the 2006 st, it's the YELLOW wire leading to the tailight, probably the same on your bike. Mine was wrapped with other wires in black tape.
I soldered my leads, to keep the sizzle out of my audio.
