On Sunday the 8th my bike was stolen in the middle of the night.
A week later, the thief decided to run a red light going 80mph and hit an oldsmobile head-on.

I only got a smile back when the officer listed the number of broken bones this guy received. He was also on parole and will be going straigth back to good ol' "pound-you-in-the-ass" prison.

Notice the frame broken in half

Honestly, i don't know if i'm going to buy another Sprint ST - which I really enjoyed... or view this as a sign and move back to Ducati's... in this case, i'd have to look at an S2. Any ideas?

I still don't know how it was stolen. It looked like a dirty job of "screwdriver in ignition" to tell you the truth.

List of broken bones:

1) wrist
2) elbow
3) Leg's Femur
4) Rib
5) Ankle
6) Pelvis

Not too shabby, eh?

Wow, that bike was pretty mangled. I wouldn't count it as a sign to go back to a duc or any other brand. Get what moves your soul.

The up side, and there always has to be one, is that justice has been served.

I'm sorry your's got filched but I'd rather have it this way that it was totally destroyed than have it stolen and returned and layed down and repairable. I guess it's my baby was violated kind of thing.

I don't see why you'd view this as an omen. If you're jonesin to get a duc then get one but I think they would be hot on the breakers list too.
