On Sunday the 8th my bike was stolen in the middle of the night.
A week later, the thief decided to run a red light going 80mph and hit an oldsmobile head-on.

I only got a smile back when the officer listed the number of broken bones this guy received. He was also on parole and will be going straigth back to good ol' "pound-you-in-the-ass" prison.

Notice the frame broken in half

Honestly, i don't know if i'm going to buy another Sprint ST - which I really enjoyed... or view this as a sign and move back to Ducati's... in this case, i'd have to look at an S2. Any ideas?

****, pretty wild picture. Sorry the guy wasn't killed but, maybe the next time. By another Triumph. You know you want to. Good luck anyway.

The broken bones and potential for an unwanted rump-ranging are suitable punishment. Death is a bit harsh.

As for your next bike Francois -- Ducs are damn fine machines, but its hard to top the value-for-your-money of the Sprints. Or maybe this is a sign to put a Rocket under your ass.....

Death is not too harsh. A person who steals a bike, car, truck are scum and usually don't do it just once. I don't feel sorry for any a$$hole who robs, steals from others home, vehicle. I worked in a prison yrs ago and they brag about who they dtole from or how they did it and a lot of these scum balls were repeat offenders. Prison teaches them how to do it better next time so they don't get caught.
I hope your thief is in a lot of pain. so much better then just being caught.

That sucks about your bike. Scum who steal bikes deserve all the bad karma (or Car-ma in this case) they can get. At least it was totalled and they didn't give you back a now-questionable bike.

Hold off (if you can) since they'll be releasing the 2005 Sprint ST specs (along with a bunch more) very soon. Stick with Triumph. You can go back to a Duck if you really feel you need the practice adjusting your valves...
