Hy folks,

some greetings from germany.

Do someone still know what are the changes for the new sprint st 2005 model? IMOT will be soon here in Germany and they promised some important changes....

The only thing i found with google is -------------------------------
Brit favourites get stunning new look with underseat pipes and sharper
styling. Triumph is set to remodel some of its biggest selling bikes
with cosmetic and mechanical changes.
The Speed Triple and the Sprint ST will get the most major updates and
Triumph's cruiser line-up is expected to expand for 2005, too.
The Speed Triple will get the latest-spec 147bhp Daytona 955i engine,
the Sprint ST will have spiced-up styling. Read the full
world-exclusive details in MCN, out on Wednesday April 7, 2004.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Somebody posted info on daytona600.org from (supposedly) a 2005 product brochure that was NOT supposed to be made public. The info/posts were pulled by the Admin, but not before more than a few people saw the info and replied to it.

Most were interested in the Daytona 650 (obvious, given the site), a bored out version of the current 600. There was some high-level info the Sprint too (undertail three pipe exhaust). No pics. No serious details.

My guess is that dealers or maybe regional reps ARE getting some advance info now. Should be an interesting month leading up to the dealer meeting in the UK in mid-September. I wouldn't be surprised if more leaks happen.

Personally, I'm *really* interested in this new Daytona 650 (assuming it really exists). Love my RS, but wouldn't mind having a dedicated twisty bike too...
