Just replaced my rear tire with a Z6, like it alot. The Bridgestone tended to drift out but the Metzler sticks pretty well. I've been told that the Z6 will break loose quicker then the Bridgestone but I haven't noticed anything, he said gratefully... Only have about 1K miles on it so real milage experience but when the front needs replacing I'll go with the Roadteck, for what that's worth.

I was using Pilot Sports, then went to the M1. I was getting about 2k out of those ( rear).
I put on the Z6 and am getting 4k now. At first I was feeling a bit more "Squirm" out of the front. It never slipped just felt odd. I think it had to do with the tread pattern and depth. I ride twisties mostly and the Z6 is as good as the Pilot for my ability. I can't tell the differance between the two. Other than the price ofcourse

Hi DMc,
Ever run Mount Hamilton Road? IT goes up to Lick Observatory on the east side of San Jose. If you pass the 680 interchange and keep going east you eventually run into it. I think it comes off of Milpitas Rd. but it's been almost twenty years since I've been out there. Anyway I had a V-30 Magna that was hotrodded that I used to run that road with. I inadvertantly made my passenger sick one day. She asked me to stop QUICK so I did, and she blew lunch. Glad I listened to her. Anyway it is a VERY challenging road.

Preachp :-D

I've got a pair sitting at Capitol City Cycle right now waiting for me. I just haven't been able to find the time to bring the bike down there. Hopefully Monday, then after the Arkansas ride on Saturday, I'll have some good feedback for ya!

Hay Preachp,
No I have yet to ride there. I spend most of my riding time away from the squids
That area tends to attract them. I ride in Marin and north. Great roads, light CHP, and good food. Come on back and I'll give ya the tour!
