The ride is through Harriman State Park in NY, just west of the Hudson River and north of NY City by about 60 miles or so. This is a great riders area with twisty wooded roads going around lakes among old eastern mountains (hills).
It was last Saturday January 6th and the temperature was 65 degrees ! I was headed home after some great riding and along side came a Ducati 990, we nodded at each other took off and began trading the lead. It was smart riding, nothing too crazy, just staying with each other and having fun. We did this for about 15 miles and finally came to a stop sign. I was headed North and he was headed South, we high fived each other went our ways. We never exchanged a word just a look with huge smiles. What a way to end the season because sooner or later winter is going to arrive in the northeast. Happy New Year to All !!
