Just a quickie...oooh errr

Hi, I've just brought a 'T' tankbag on e-bay, mint condition but no instructions, sorted the rear fixings but does the front fix around the headstock with the webbing strap or is it two seperate straps around the frame?

many thanks

Neil :???:

Neil,

The instructions that came with my tankbag had information on both one strap installation and two strap installation. The bike pictured (partial view) in the one strap installation looks like a T-bird or Bonneville. The tankbag that I rec'd for the ST had 2 straps that go around the main frame rails - hopefully what you got off e-bay. Fishing them in there was a bit of chore, but not as much as getting all the slack worked out right between the clasps (at least in my case).

Someone fixed up some quick connects around the front frame members on this board so the tank bag mat could be quickly removed. I've done a little looking into this, but haven't found the right connectors yet - or at least those that don't require a sewing job. (Not my forte. :-D )

Hope this helps.
