"Problem."
A problem is hitting rocks while leaned over at 60 mph and starting to slide. A few extra seconds of cranking is merely an annoyance, and an idiosyncrasy. It eventually cranks and by that I mean within 10-15 seconds of the first attempt, even at it's worst, so not a problem.

Um...I don't know how many motorcycles you've had in your life Longpath but I've NEVER had or heard of a "modern" bike acting like this...it's not "normal" for a bike to take this long and multiple trys to start with a warm or hot engine. Mine did not start after 10 or 15 seconds of cranking.
It may not be a problem to you but it sure is for me.
Look at your watch's second hand and picture yourself cranking the starter for 10 or 15 seconds, NOT just ONCE but MULTIPLE times, besides possibly OVERHEATING the starter and shortening it's life it's rediculous to have to wait that long for a modern motorcycle to start like that with a warm motor.....it may have been a freak occurance (maybe some bad fuel or something) because it's never done this before and I have 6,000 miles on the bike.
Thats why I was curious as to if anyone else experienced this.
BTW....the fact that TRIUMPH has improved or changed the ECU on the new '07's PROVES there was a problem, if there wasn't they wouldn't have changed it!
And one more thing....I didn't ask weather you thought my problem was a problem or not, I asked if anyone else experienced this "warm/hot" hard starting to see if it's just my bike or not.
