Anyone know if the 06 1050 grips are glued on? I am going to put some heating units under them and just do not want to lose the stock grips

I guess I can't speak specifically for the 06 grips, but I just installed heated grips on my 05 and the stock grips were easily removed using a butter knife and dishwashing liquid.
